'The Girl That Loves To Run'

“I am me” – I said proudly. “And I Know That’s Enough.” An ordinary girl, trying extraordinary stuff.

Nikki had a great big adventurous dream to run 63 marathons in 63 days throughout the UK. Could it be done? Some thought not, but she believed she could.  With her super-crack-crew of helpers – Rufus the super-dog, Sharif the coffee-fairy, and old Stan the Van – Nikki set off on her extraordinary running adventure to see how far she could run.

A real-life fun adventure story about self-belief and finding personal strengths – your true super-powers!

I’ve been sharing my running adventure stories to thousands of primary school children in the UK over the past 4 years.  At one of these talks in 2021 I was asked “Do you have a children’s book about these adventures?”.  “No”, I answered.  “Well I think you should!” was their reply!

And so, while being locked-down in 2021, I have been busy writing one!

It hasn’t been easy writing a rhyming version of my story but I’ve had the approval of some helpful primary school children and teachers in Nottingham, and I have passed the story on to my running friend and super talented illustrator Christopher Allen.  Christopher has been working hard at bringing my story to life, and now it’s ready for you all!

But I really need your help with this last bit of the process – it would be amazing if you could pre-order your copy of the book to help me with the initial printing costs.  As a self-published author, I pay for everything upfront before I get a finished product to send to readers who buy it.  By pre-ordering not only will you get your copy before anyone else, but you can also get your name in the book!

Also, as part of the launch I want to be able to give as many primary schools as I can a copy of the book for their library.  My goal is to give a copy to all the schools I have visited, as well as those that would like me to visit them in the future. I’ll be funding these free books from the profits of the book sales,
