Shane Benzie, our running technique coach pays particular attention to your posture and fascial system which is responsible for your proprioception (balance) and the creation of elastic recoil and elastic energy in your body (efficiency and effectiveness). He uses the fascial system to create a thought process when running that maximises the synergy and fluidity in your body.
Shane studies the best, most natural runners in the WORLD to discover their body patterns, their running gait, their breathing, their posture, the way their bodies effortlessly bound and propel along the road and has learnt how to best implement these techniques into your running.
Nikki Love, our expert body therapist, pays attention to any weakness, tightness or movement compensations you may have implemented into your running technique. There are often simple tweaks or rehab exercises that you can implement into your training that will improve the balance and strength of your body.
Nikki massages runners bodies daily to help keep them injury free and on the running trails or rehabs them back from injury. Keeping your body fit for running is all about keeping the muscles supple, the joints mobile, the body balanced and flexible and giving it the aftercare it needs.
